At Straughans we have an understanding of the issues that face charities and not-for-profit organisations.
We have been advising charitable organisations, large and small, for many years and have built up a bank of experience and knowledge of charity law and taxation that is unique to independent firms such as ours.

Our charity team is based at our Washington office. It is led by Mike Tait who has over 20 years experience in advising a broad range of charitable organisations on issues covering charity law, accounting, audit, taxation, VAT, governance, charity commission investigations, mergers, structures, registrations and schemes.

Directors in Straughans are available to act personally as trustees.
We also operate a helpline for the guidance of trustees and others engaged in the management of charities.
